Bidra med feedbackOur family has been dining at this restaurant for nearly 40 years, and we continue to believe it’s an excellent place to eat. We’ve celebrated family reunions and church banquets here, as well as simply enjoyed meals together. The food and service are consistently great, and the prices are unbeatable. We really need more family-friendly restaurants like this one in our area.
The restaurant needs a makeover; everything feels outdated. The food is good, but it really could benefit from a refresh in the overall ambiance.
I visited this restaurant with a friend, as I live nearby and have fond memories of dining there as a child. I expected it to be a great place for dinner, but I was sadly mistaken. My friend ordered a steak, and it was undercooked three times—she had to send it back each time. At one point, we heard the manager yelling from halfway across the dining room, insisting that the steaks come in frozen, as if that justified serving something that was clearly undercooked. We felt so embarrassed by the whole situation, and to top it off, the bar area was dirty.
The atmosphere and décor may not be the most modern or stylish, and could benefit from some updates. I also find it concerning when people leave negative reviews; many seem unaware that food costs have increased significantly over the past decade, which necessitates higher prices. Taxes have risen as well. If the community would show more support for local businesses, perhaps more establishments could thrive and Pulaski could continue to grow. You may sometimes encounter a long wait to eat at the Steer House during the evenings or on Sundays, which is a good indicator of its popularity. In any case, I encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try at least once. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Remember to support your local businesses!
The menu hasn't seen much change in the last 30 years. Although the restaurant could benefit from some updates, the food is tasty and fairly priced, with nothing on the menu costing more than $13. The rib-eye pork is especially outstanding.
