Bidra med feedbackAlthough this place was recently renamed Pearleens, it remains a beloved family business. Pearleen welcomed us into her restaurant and made us feel right at home. Her Belizean buffet was absolutely delicious, and we definitely had our fill—I couldn’t resist going back for more plantains! The homemade juice was equally delightful. It was wonderful to chat with Pearleen as she shared the history of their family business; she was warm and inviting, which made us feel comfortable despite being in a foreign country. We visited before exploring the nearby Nim Li Puni ruins, and I was impressed by the strict COVID protocols in place, which made us feel very safe. Thank you so much, Pearleen, for opening your restaurant to us!
The food was delicious! It's incredible how many different ways chicken can be prepared. The fried chicken with homemade habanero sauce was fantastic. Pearleen is a wonderful hostess!
This is a fantastic restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy lunch. The owner is incredibly respectful and friendly to all her guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Her delicious East Indian dishes are a true highlight!
The restaurant offers fantastic local Belizean cuisine served buffet-style, allowing for unlimited helpings, all for around $10 USD. You can also purchase a variety of chilled sodas, locally made juices, and delicious ice cream—especially refreshing on a hot 35-degree day. Additionally, they provide WiFi, which can be hard to come by in the area.
This experience was amazing! It felt like a journey back in time to my grandmother's and great aunts' kitchens. I was encouraged to indulge in some incredible dishes, and it didn’t take much convincing at all. This is the best food I’ve had in Belize!
