Tamiami Tavern - Punta Gorda

The worst meal/experience that I have had in 60 years, the waitstaff was good, but the manager was rude and only wanted to sit on a bar stool and talk to a female bartender. Arrived and seated at the restaurant 10 min before 3:00 both my parents need to use the restrooms before sitting down (as we heading back from Tampa/Moffitt Hospital) so I asked the waitress if we could see the lunch menu when she come back to take drink order she was told it was too late 3:03 as I looked at my watch by the manager on duty very rude and unkept looking. my parent had been regular at the Fisherman Village location for 20 years when the food came out the coleslaw was grey and had no taste the fish was very bland my Dad needed malt vinger and my Mom and I had to use more ketchup to give it a little taste, fries were hot Just can not in good faith give this restaurant a good review service was good, food just not good old/reheated taste restroom unkept

We have been there three times. All excellent experiences. Now that the crowds have settled down and they have opened for breakfast and lunch as well, you can go and be seated. Food is great!
