Bidra med feedbackI really like this place. It is a fairly eclectic small coffee shop, with all possible small fair trade and positive philanthropic products that you can buy to return to the community and the world in a great way. The comfortable things aside, the environment is great, the dishes and drinks are well designed, it tastes like the ingredients are well selected and fresh, and everything in the whole atmosphere is right to sit, enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or latte, and maybe crack your laptop up and get a little work or reading done.
My favorite place to get iced white mochas. Also love their frozen hot chocolate! They have the comfiest seats I've ever sat on too.
I've been going here since I was a kid, when my mom used to get me hot chocolates with whipped cream. It was a wonderful part of my childhood, and remains a great little shop to meet with friends or just stop for pre-work coffee. There is plenty of seating lining your work toward the register, all of it quite aesthetically pleasing. It has a classy, cozy look and the furniture is quite comfortable. Additionally, they have reading material available if you forgot your own. Plenty of treats (muffins, loafs, scones, etc. to complement your cappuccino and gelato for the warmer months (or colder months if you're a year round kind of person . The coffee itself is quite good, though I can't speak to how/where it is prepared or roasted. Also, they have A TON of drink options to choose from, along with tasteful seasonal specials. The baristas are helpful and friendly, mostly high school/college kids, and the owner is awesome! Also, they are surprisingly one of the only non-bar places in Purcellville open past 8 PM. Live music on most Friday (pretty sure it's Friday nights, so go then to get a cultural taste of the town's local talent.
The coffee was delicious, and the breakfast was fantastic as well. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was friendly and attentive!
The espresso here is impressive, but it can be helpful to clarify your order if the knowledgeable staff isn’t around. They serve decaf espresso, which can be hard to come by elsewhere, but it boasts a fantastic flavor and aroma. A big thank you to the small businesses that strive to accommodate those who cannot have caffeine!
