Thoroughly enjoyed the light meal we had before going to the Opera. Each morsel packs a punch. Make sure you order the scampi, scallops, ravioli, tempura rolls

The food is amazing, the drinks are great. Not to forget Kaye on the bar is giving such a amazing experience. Definitely coming back and letting everyone know about this place.

My wife and I have loved each and every time we have dined at Sokyo over the years. So happy that that nothing has changed since our last, pre-Covid , visit. Great service , with a much appreciated dry wit , from Florian , who...looked after us this time. If you love really good Japanese food , and an amazing drinks list, don’t miss Sokyo if you get the chance- especially the sashimi platter ….. and the duck…. and the scallop ravioli …. and.. you may have to make more than one visit.

The dishes were fantastic, especially miso king fish ceviche. Staffs were friendly and had a good service mind. Sunbeam took a good care of us. The atmosphere was also nice.

I was extremely upset with our visit to Sokyo. Upon arrival to the restaurant we learned that our booking for omakase could not be accommodated. The restaurant failed to contact me prior to our arrival and in-fact I was told that my request for omakase...was not noticed until the day of the reservation. I would have booked at a different restaurant had they informed me sooner. With that said the music was so loud at the entrance that my wife and I needed to ask for the staff to repeat themselves again and again. Our experience here was not good. What a waste of one night out dining during our 3 evenings in Sydney.
