Excellent food, bit overpriced for what you get. Service needs serious work. If we needed something outside of when we were served, we didn't get it. Asked for oil and vinegar for my salad and never got it. Needed to refill my own water and wine. Way too much time between finishing dinner and waiter coming back to follow up for dessert. Market price for tuna seemed highly inflated. Octopus was delicious.
This restaurant is in a delightful setting despite being so close to the strip. The atmosphere is much better than that of the surrounding area. My wife and I had two starters and two mains and every dish was delicious. Service was good, but not great it got better as the evening went on and they were less busy. Definitely visit if staying in st Julian’s book in advance to get a good table.
We had dinner last night, loved the ambiance and the wonderful view. Diego our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Whilst my friend’s Pork dish came very moist and tender our pork was a little on the tough side. Despite this we all enjoyed the experience
Paranga is definitely our favourite restaurant in Malta and in fact we took a trip here last week just to be able to dine in the restaurant. This trip we dined with them 3 times, once in the new pizzeria above Paranga. We’ve never been let down by the service but more importantly the food! We strongly recommend the White Chocolate Soufflé, to die for! We know the staff really well now considering the last time we were here was 13 months ago! We are coming back in November from London! Thank you all for your extremely kind hospitality especially Daniele Russo who had arranged our reservation for us. We used to stay in the Intercontinental Malta when we visited but they let us down badly on our last trip so we’ve now opted The Westin so we can still be closed to our favourite restaurant The Paranga. Until the next time
