Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is situated in a plaza with plenty of parking available. Please be aware that the restaurant closes for a break from 3 to 4 o'clock, so you may need to wait before being seated upon arrival. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient, and our food arrived promptly. As soon as we sat down, we were quickly provided with water and utensils. We waited no more than 10 minutes for all our dishes to arrive. Overall, our experience was very enjoyable, and we would definitely return.
I lived in South Korea for four years, so I'm quite familiar with the cuisine. After moving to Boston, I've been on the lookout for an affordable yet high-quality Korean soup restaurant. SGD Dubu serves the best soups I've tasted since my arrival. They also provided five small side dishes and happily refilled my kimchi. The $14 lunch was fantastic!
I ordered the hot stone beef Bibimbap (dolsot bibimbap bulgogi). While I agree that the portion of beef may seem small by American standards, the dish was good overall. I enjoy mixing my bibimbap, and there was enough to distribute throughout the bowl. It also came with a variety of banchan, which was a nice touch. I have to commend the ice cream soup that accompanied the dish. Although it looked a bit unusual, it was quite refreshing and had a savory broth. One note: I prefer my bibimbap to come with a fried egg on top, but here they mix the egg into the dish. I'm sure they could accommodate my preference if I asked.
Delicious Tofu stew square Bibimbab. Good variety of base, protein, spiciness and carb options. It is worth paying extra to order your Bibimbab or rice with stone option for crispy rice. Your Korean courts are pretty good and refillable. Friendly staff! You give you the death star if you ask for more pages or tea.
Very modern looking Korean restaurant. PROS Beef Bugolgi is so good, The marinated is just right Seafood pancake has the crispiness that I like Very nice staffs Lots of toping CONS Tofu soup with seafood, taste ok, nothing special. But I’m so disappointed because there is no real seafood, just some frozen shirmps.
