Bidra med feedbackWe may have ordered too much food but that's ok because they packaged it up to go for us. Food was amazing as usual, they were busy so it took a little long for things to be brought out and to get our check.
Hidden behind main st. Spanish tapas and paella place. We had their Matador paella, potatoes with aioli, drinks and flan (must try). Luis greeted us the moment we entered and has a great sense of humor! Vegetarian options: One entire section of vegetarian tapas
Seafood was not great, but the meats and veggies options were good.
Love Olde Madrid, great food with wonderful friends makes for a terrific evening!! Highly recommend to try, can't describe how great all the food is!
We got the Matador Paella (I asked for it extra crispy) and it was absolutely fantastic!! Closest I've had to authentic paella since coming back from living in Spain. Tasted just like one I had in Valencia! I was really impressed. It's not all authentic Spanish dishes/tapas, but that's quite hard to come by because Americans don't really like authentic Spanish cuisine. With that being said, we had the asparagus, baked goat cheese, and spinach and cheese empanadas and all were delicious. We live all the way in Chicago and will be back!!!
