I really loved Buck's BBQ. I had the rib plate. It came with two sides and a drink plus dessert. Because I let them know I wasn't really sure what I wanted for dessert they gave me samples of everything instead of one choice. They are under new management and will be remodeling a bit and adding to the menu. Check this place out. I know I'll be back!
The staff is very kind and welcoming, absolutely some of the nicest people. I truly wish I could write a better review. Unfortunately, it was the worst bbq I have ever paid for and not worth the $18 I spent on the food.I ordered a combo plate of brisket and pulled pork with collard greens and baked beans and my friend ordered the same combo plate with potato salad and collard greens.The brisket was overly dry and shredded, but they masked it slightly with an attempt to rehydrate it by soaking in its juices before serving it dripping wet. The pulled pork was bland as well, with very little seasoning. The potato salad tasted like it was from Walmart because you could literally taste the plastic tub it was stored in. The collard greens were weak; very little flavor and had large chucks of bay leaves and 3-4” chunks of fat floating within it. The baked beans were the best part, but only because they were sweeter than desert. The sweet tea had a Smokey bbq taste to it and was sweeter than sin dripping off the balls of Satan. The “special hot” bbq sauce.... just don’t. Bbq sauce should never be blacker than the grease off a grill at the end of the week and should never have chunks of a pepper hand mixed in with sweet baby rays.
Great food! Excellent prices! Will go again to eat there!
It was ok i had to oreder what they had to choose from. It wasnt what i wanted so no I didnt enjoy it
