This restaurant is designed in the 50s style, 4 seats are integrated into an old Chevrolet, the decoration shows photos and posters from the 50s and 60s and of course there is the right music the concept is consistent. Food and drinks are as expected from your American diner.

...pretty cool design; like a 50's american diner that we all seen in so many movies! However a little bit sterile atmosphere. The food was OK but it lacked that little extra. Mostly hamburgers and some texmex and veggie on the menu. The milkshakes looked amazing! You order at the bar and have to pick it up yourself when the buzzer gives you a signal. If there were waitresses I would give this place a higher grade.

Lovely place with nice food, nicer ambience and nicest service. They have managed to really create an American diner in the middle of Rättvik. We enjoyed our dinner in the remodelled car table and our kido just loved it. Food was delicious too. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an American 1950 's inspired fashion and I feel that they have gone all the way. It 's very well thought out and they have put a lot of attention to the details. Although I can 't vouch for the authenticity, the feel is definitely there. It 's like stepping into a time machine, or onto the set of an Elvis era movie. They also sell a small selection of souvenirs in a matching style. The atmosphere is very relaxed but still clean and somewhat classy. It comes then as a pleasant surprise that they didn 't blow it all on the interior decoration. They put a lot of love into the food as well. Today I chose the Smoked Salmon Mango Salad and it was very tasty and succulent. I was very happy with that choice. My wife had the Pulled Pork Sizzling Fajita and it was fantastic as well. On a previous visit I tried the Beer Marinated Burger, which was also great right up there with the best restaurant hamburgers I 've tried. Another thing to love about this place is that it 's both a great place to stop for a quick meal if your just happen to be traveling though Rättvik around lunch or dinner time, but also a place where you 'd go with a group of friends for after work, or a fantastic place for a children 's birthday party.
