Dirupo Rosso - RAGUSA

We stumbled across this magnificent restaurant totally by chance and were warmly welcomed by the owner Sig. Tumino. Excellent by all standards, amazing view and location, easy parking, delicious cuisine, very respectful staff and reasonable. Thoroughly recommended. We will definately visit again. Sig. Tumino prides himself on ordering only the best and especially organic and free range from surrounding farmers that he knows personally to ensure a high level of food quality. We had a fillet steak that was so tender it could be cut by a fork, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Nothing was a problem and we were reluctant to leave the peace and serenity of the spot after our meal. 100 on 100 goes to this restaurant without a doubt.

Just outside of Ragusa in the beautiful Iblean countryside,sits the restaurant Dirupo Rosso on the edge of the Lago Rosalia. Beautiful views, and in the summer you can sit outside on the decks overlooking the water! Pizzas are from a wood fired oven and available in the evenings. They also make their own honey on the property and you can purchase a jar on your way out! Check their website for opening hours, or give them a call, usually Thursday thru Sunday for lunch and dinner.

Just been here this weekend! I would highly recommend this restaurant for excellent food service and last but not least, the stunning views! One shouldn't miss it if around d area!!! We wer in a large group and yet we still had best service one could offer! Enjoy!
