This place is amazing! I recently bought a house in Rahway, and Stas is right at the end of my new street. I grew up in central Connecticut, and this restaurant brings back memories of the spots I used to find in New Britain, which is essentially Connecticut’s “small Poland.” The few times I’ve eaten here so far have reminded me of my grandmother’s kitchen. I only wish she had taught me Polish so I could better appreciate the menu, especially the kielbasa! Regardless, I plan to come here often, and I highly recommend that you do the same!

I had only the pierogi, and whether you choose the meat or the potato, you can't go wrong. They are both fantastic!

My go-to deli for excellent, freshly-made Polish food: bigos (hunter stew), pierogis, kielbasi, sauerkraut and meat rolls, pastries, Polish meatballs--all delicious! A real nice, authentic place.
