American Deli - Raleigh

I often take off here as a delivery driver; the staff is always pleasant. Today I ordered 20 wings and a Philly. Everyone loved the wings and my Philly was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Really enjoy eating the food here!!! UPDATE: So this is my first visit since all the restrictions have been lidded from the pandemic. With that said, I understand and respect the staffing shortage. However, what I can 't accept are the two line cooks on their phones the entire time. Orders are ready, and they just let them sit there. The person before me ordered a simple chef salad and had to ask twice for her food. I 've been in the restaurant industry, so I respect the order of the house(cooks aren 't runners). The person who ordered some significant time after me asked, How did i get my food before you? I smiled and responded, unfortunate sign of the time. Have a great weekend. After another two people placed their order, I finally asked one of the cooks if I could get my food? I 'm not sure if this location is under new ownership and/or management as the line cooks were helping the new person with the register each time she had questions. The food is still good, I 'll give them time to get the service level back up.

Ordered two combos, 2 piece tilapila and a burger. The fish was..eh. Kinda dry and served with cocktail instead of tartar sauce. I would have rated 3 stars. The person who ate the burger said it was really good and while not greasy had the taste of a greasy spoon burger which he loved. He would have given 5 star. Split the difference, 4 stars. Will edit next time we try different dishes.

The food and service is amazing! But it stinks in there. Smells like they may have a plumbing issue. Really no nice way of saying it.
