Cook Out - Raleigh

I visited the other night and was pleasantly surprised by the girl taking orders at the drive-thru. She was incredibly nice, helpful, and patient—traits I rarely encounter in a fast-food setting. She ensured that I got exactly what I wanted, and I was truly impressed by her service.

The website clearly states that this location offers dine-in service. I made an extra effort to visit, only to discover that "dine-in" means sitting at a picnic table in 100°F heat with no shade whatsoever. This is far from the typical understanding of dine-in. I won’t be returning!

I placed an order here at 7:34 PM on June 20, 2023, with ticket number 1245. While the cashier was very friendly, the burger I received was disappointing. A part of it had no meat, and the edges of that section were uneven and jagged, making it look poorly prepared. I can’t understand why I was given a tiny burger patty that didn’t even cover the entire bun. I felt really shortchanged. By the time I noticed this issue, I was at Crabtree and too exhausted to return it, but it was definitely frustrating.

Fast service, however be aware the fries have been dry/cold since covid for some reason. Also trays used to be $5 they are now $9.

Absolutely the worst cook out experience I had. I was in the drive thru this afternoon around 2:30pm trying to place my order with my elderly parents, who were trying to decide what they wanted. The lady on the intercom was very nasty after I was giving her my order, there was a disconnect and I wasn’t sure if she heard me and I repeated that I wanted the cheddar white bites and she yelled at me saying “I already heard you say that what else do you want”. I told her there was no reason to yell at me and I would be giving my money to any place that is being disrespectful. I am absolutely disgusted.
