Bidra med feedbackThe sandwiches are amazing! Service is top notch. Read my mind about ranch dressing for the chips before I could even ask. You don't really need ranch though as they have a wonderful seasoning alone. Bread is fresh and local. I wish I worked downtown so I could go regularly. I've been meaning to try this place for years, and it's sad I just tried it before I'm about to move away : . YOU MUST EAT ALL THE SANDWICHES IN MY HONOR though, since I won't be close to eat them all.
I've been trying to go to Linus and Peppers for what seems like ages now. I either run out of time because of their limited hours or they're just not open. This is not their fault, I just lead a busy lifestyle. I finally got a chance to try it and my gawd I was in heaven. The Sandwiches they have here as so good. Full of flavor, big, delicious, savory, just mouth watering. I had the Russian and my fiance had the Frenchy. We traded each other half of our sandwiches to get the best of both worlds. But sandwiches were so delicious. The balsamic marinated tomatoes are a huge burst of surprising flavor that blends so well with the sandwich you're eating. With the amount of business they had, our food came out pretty fast and the staff was super friendly. Restaurant was clean and it's a decent size for the business they were getting. It could be bigger just because they seem to get a lot of business in the time we were there. Loved it and definitely will be back.
Oh my God, these sandwiches were so good! I love the 50s feel to it too, they had Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy on TV. Very nice staff as well, and the chef even asked us how we liked the sandwiches and told us about his delicious balsamic tomatoes. Will definitely eat here again. We had plenty of leftovers too, as one half of the sandwich is a meal in itself. My husband liked their pastrami cut too, it.was a little thicker, not the thin slices, but still delicious and not tough. So good!
First time here. Staff was super friendly. I liked the decor. Easy to find parking for lunch. I had the Frenchy. For the side, I had the homemade chips with a 2 ounce ramekin of their homemade ranch. I also tried the potato salad. As far as the sandwich, it basically was French dip with a bit of horseradish on it. It was good! However I have a feeling I would have liked the Italian or the southern a bit more. Next time! The chips with the ranch was awesome! Loved it! The potato salad was OK, nothing to write home about. Sticking with the chips as the side! The price was a bit high for one person but it’s good and you get full so there’s that!
Had the Frenchy with tomato soup and it was excellent. The BLT was great as well but the coleslaw had a weird taste. I say stick to the chips. Prices were reasonable as well. Am excellent choice for lunch in downtown Raleigh.
