Pho Sure - Raleigh

Stopped in for lunch today. The staff was very nice, the wait for food was very short, and the food..... Perfect! Let's start with the menu. It is very small but I find that refreshing because I'm often indecisive. The less I have to choose from thebetter! I ordered the grilled pork bahn mi, beef and meatball pho, a bbq pork bahn mi and a fresh spring roll. The bahn mi wasdynamite! Both were very tasty. The regular grilled pork was lemongrass heavy but in a very good way! The bread on the bahn miwas literally the best I've ever had. It was chewy but had a very crispy crunchy crust. So good! The spring roll was typical butthe peanut dipping sauce was a winner, it wasn't too sweet, it was just right! As for the pho, very good! Plenty of meat and bigchunks of cut up meatball. The only thing I thought was strange is I wasn't given basil as a garnish for the pho. Maybe they ranout? Other than that, my husband and I enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be going back! My only constructive feedback isthat they need more outdoor seating. We are covid conscious and couldn't eat outside because both the 2 tables were taken.Fortunately, it was very slow so we felt comfortable eating inside tucked into a corner.

I love everything about Pho Sure. The food is always delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner will answer any questions you have, and she will make suggestions if you don't know what you are in the mood for. It's clear theytake pride in their food. Pho Sure is a hidden gem. A group of friends and I meet here twice a month, and we are neverdisappointed.

The food is satisfactory. This was my second visit, and I've found the counter service to be lacking both times. Although the prices are somewhat elevated, that's not the main concern for me. However, the front-of-house experience really detracts from the overall enjoyment of the meal. In fact, I told my wife that I was 'livid' as we began our meal.

I was excited to try this restaurant since it's just around the corner from my home. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the least authentic pho experiences I've ever had. I was feeling a bit under the weather and really craving pho, but I left feeling quite disappointed. The broth was overly salty and lacked the proper flavor. There were hardly any bean sprouts, and instead of Thai basil, they used regular garden basil. The noodles were overcooked and too thin. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, but I really wish the food had lived up to expectations.

The food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Just be aware that the dishes take a bit of time to prepare, so it’s not fast food. Food rating: 5/5.
