Bidra med feedbackCame here on a whim when the family was in town. Opted to sit at the bar, as we did not make reservations and the wait was around 30 minutes for 4 people on a Saturday night at about 7:30 PM. The bartenders were excellent! They offered wonderful recommendations and made great conversation. My dad had several questions on the history and the menu, and they answered each question willingly/ with a smile. They do not offer gluten-free pizza or pasta, but 2 out of the 3 main entrees are gluten free. They also have cucumber chips available for the warm feta dip (which was great). The salads and the wings can be made GF as well. We ordered the pickle juice Caesar salad to spilt between the 4 of us. There was plenty to share as an app and tasted great! I ordered the honey-glazed wings, which were absolutely incredible. My family ordered pizzas, and had only wonderful things to say. The Roselle is a great non-alcoholic frozen drink option. Made with hibiscus, lime, and pineapple. Very refreshing. As a plus, the decor was very cute. I’d come back again for sure!
Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. Very cool ambience, you really feel like you are at the pool and about to eat delicious pizza. The pizza itself was good but very thin slices. If that’s your jam then you’ll like it. I prefer thicker crusts. Good selection of drinks and a decent appetizer selection. The great service would make me come back, very nice and attentive staff.
We were there this past Monday and both of our pizzas were burned badly. All we could taste was black char. What chef sends burned pizza to the table and the waitress didn’t seem to understand nor did she apologize It was basically 40+ dollars wasted and I would never bother going back when other places would never think to serve pizza with a black crust. No thanks!
New pizza and pasta arm of Raleigh stalwart Poole’s doesn’t fail to impress. Perfectly cooked pies perfect crust, perfect sauce, perfect cheese with creative toppings and other menu items sure to please even the pizza abstaining. A little pricy, but it’s downtown, but worth a splurge!
There 's a certain 'vintage aesthetic ' that, regardless of how visually cute it is, isn 't welcoming and this place has those vibes. IYKYK But, if you can get past that the food is wonderful. The Rigatoni Bolognese didn 't have the acidity I 've noticed in many of the meat sauces of Triangle restaurants, however, the portion was much smaller than I expected for $19. If, like me, you 've never had Panna Cotta jiggle warning it 's like a cross between jello and yogurt. The hazelnut was a great complement and added the right amount of crunch/texture. I didn 't touch the strawberry slices. The Margherita was $16 and was pretty much what you would expect. The Sausage alla Vodka was $18.
