Snoopy's Hot Dogs - Raleigh

Its raining hard today, like cats and hotdogs, but the weather didn't keep the Snoopy's faithful away. Just good dogs at a good price, especially on Tuesday half price regular dogs loaded. Absolute must stop if in the Raleigh area.

I like the hotdogs, love the chicken salad, both in a sandwich and just buying a half pint or pint. The service isn't as fast as some other places, BUT the short wait is well worth it. Most Snoopy's don't have indoor seating; I have no issue eating in the car, or on the tailgate of my truck. Very basic and efficient, we're regulars, especially with their coupons and specials.

Delicious little spot to grab a quick bite. To-go only and service was really fast. They have daily specials as well as every day combinations. We didn't order chicken salad, but it seemed to be quite popular, especially on a sweltering summer day. The chili was on point, nice and saucy without being oily. Far too often we get hot dogs and the chili is either an oily, greasy mess, or it's lacking sauce and more like seasoned crumbled beef, but that definitely not the case at Snoopy's. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly crispy outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Overall a great place to get a classic hot dog.

I've loved Snoopy's my entire life and I'm pretty sure they're 100% responsible for weight gain when I first moved back to Raleigh seven years ago lol! They continue to slay when it comes to dogs, burgers, and chicken salad. Snoopy's is a Raleigh institution and their quality has remained consistent and awesome! You order at the window, pickup at a separate window, and take it someplace to eat. It's fantastic to grab and take down the street to the park on a nice day! Or it's a delightful tradition on a rainy day to grab some Snoopy's and eat with the family in your car. The hot dogs are fantastic, my hubs says the cheeseburgers are 10/10, and the chicken salad on wheat is the bomb!!! The fries are crinkle cut and SO good and I don't even like fries. Also the carrot cake is awesome! If it's carrot cake day, grab a slice (or two! . I try to keep Covid land out of my reviews but I have to praise Snoopy's for their handling of Covid land. As a family that has to be extra careful during Covid land, Snoopy's continues to handle Covid precautions with grace and care to all of their customers. I am glad to have a restaurant we can continue to visit safely during Covid land knowing Snoopy's is protecting their customers and their employees. This place is epic! And if you're just visiting Raleigh, definitely a must try quick bite!!

You know how sometimes you want a chili dog? Maybe you don't. But this evening, it was something I wanted and here's Snoopy's to the rescue. Quickly ordered and paid, my two dogs were put together fresh and wrapped well for transport. Back at the hotel room, they had not fallen apart and were still warm. Yeah, I ate two hot dogs with chili, though I skipped the buns on both. Delicious and satisfied the craving. Very inexpensive, very tasty. Ignore the upset tummy, that's what Pepto's for.
