I questioned the barista and was told their system is not sophisticated enough to have all the buttons for all the drink combinations. I find this hard to believe. Then I sat down while my drink was being made and did not hear the barista call my name. I was about two feet away. So either she whispered or neglected to call me, my hot drink sat on the counter until I realized it was mine. When I confronted her, all I got was, I called your name. Yeah, right. I don't think I'll be visiting this Starbucks again.
Spent $17 on 3 coffees. Stood there for over 10 minutes while 3 employees cleaned and none were making my drinks. After I got my beverage it was room temperature.
I come to this Target often. I've witnessed the same baristas working on multiple occasions who are the most unprofessional, unhappy people I've seen at a Starbucks. I saw them be extremely rude to a guy trying to figure out how to get his credit card to work. I witnessed an unprofessional conversation between the two of them while ignoring customers. I witnessed them snicker and make fun of my child. Rude, rude, rude. Need supervision. Oh, and the coffee want that good, either.
I was in Wake Forest at Target and decided to stop by the Starbucks there. I don't often visit Starbucks, only treating myself on special occasions. Unfortunately, the barista was incredibly rude and seemed more interested in chatting with a male friend sitting at a nearby table than providing good service. When you spend $5 on a cup of coffee, you certainly don't expect to be met with an attitude. One would expect better service from a place like Starbucks, especially since I've received better service at gas stations.
Now, here's the real surprise: this was the sweetest pistachio latte I've ever had. If I'd saved it for the next day, I could have used it as pancake syrup! And as for the ambiance? Well, it's just a Starbucks inside a Target. The area could have been cleaner, too. Additionally, this location does not accept Starbucks payments—only scan payments. I think I’ll be crossing this place off my coffee list.
