SDM Golden Tower hotel has an advantage as it is very close to temple. Just 300 mts of walkable distance. Helps a lot as vehicles not allowed on all roads around temple. You can only drop tourists on west gate. But it's main road in city and is small. So vehicles can't stop for more time. Complimentary breakfast is highlight of this hotel. It's really good. In fact for that matter. In general their Restaurant is good. Rooms are clean. Housekeeping is done daily. Hot water is available via geaser.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I booked two family rooms (4 beds) for 10 people. The booking was directly over the phone. The rooms were well enough for 4 people. And they have provided a nice extra bed for the fifth person. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Hot water was available 24*7. Room service was also nice. As soon as we returned to the hotel after taking the 22 theertham bath, they were very quick to clean the wet floors promptly. The hotel is walkable from all the key towers. There's a safe separate parking facility. All the necessary amenities and toiletries were provided. Only thing that I felt can be improved was the breakfast. It was very average and could have been better. Overall, the stay was very nice and safe especially when we travelled with the family. The cost was also reasonable. The hotel is at a very good location. It is hardly 200-300 m from the main temple. The food at the restaurant is also good. Just to add you can also eat in the restaurant just opposite side of the hotel for North Indian food. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. They will give u all the info needed if asked. They have parking space little far from hotel around 1-2 km but they give drop/ pickup to the parking. The rooms are not very big and are just reasonable size. Only thing I felt is that the price is little higher for the room. But maybe because we went on long weekend.
