Best beer selection I've come across..from the can design to the flavor blending, this place is the real deal. The family that runs this spot are also hardworking, awesome people!! We love Burning Barrel!

As someone who loves sours, the lack of breweries up in the Sac area that carry them is really disappointing. When I finally do find a place that carries it, it's always trapped out! When I finally ventured into Burning Barrel, this brewery is filled with them. From fruity sours to smoothie and everything in-between. Don't worry it wasn't all sours, they also had some IPAs, Stouts, a wheat ale , lager and porters. From the moment I walked in we were greeted by two friendly girls. They let us sample and answered any questions that we had. I ended up getting the Double Double Jam Jam which was a smoothie sour and consisted of Boysenberry, passion fruit, blood orange, lychee and coconut. Some smoothie sours can be really thick but this one was light and so delicious that I ended up getting a couple of rounds. There was no shortage of seating as there was plenty of seating inside of out. They don't have any food here but they do have chips and salsa for sale. Check there website or social media for food trucks dates and if all else fails there's a Taco Bell in the same parking lot. If you're a beer lover or just want a place to hangout and relax, then I definitely recommend visiting Burning Barrel!

Really bad costumer service, even racist.Your employee was incredibly rude and confrontational. Instead of informing us of house policies, and inviting us to purchase your beer, he was nasty and such poor representation of your establishment. I invite you to continue reviewing your footage until you realize that it was your employee who was in the wrong and that was no way to treat someone who came to spend money at your establishment. Do not invade anyone’s personal space. Your employee mentioning that “You are in California now” made the interaction racist. Extremely unpleasant and not a false accusation.Plenty of excellent breweries to visit in Sac.Corillo, este lugar no sirve para nada, no visiten.

We had ordered 6 drinks while we were there. We went to the patio near the end of our visit, and I started smoking my pipe. We were there at least 20-30 minutes until a small brunette waitress came out and said, You can 't smoke on our patio. I said okay She came back out after a minute or two and said, This is your second warning. I saw you still smoking. I explained to her it was out.So the message to Burning Barell is, if you don 't want people smoking on your patio, post signs, NO SMOKING ON THE PATIO. NOT signs posted on the building saying no smoking within 25 feet of the entrance. Will not be returning. Good luck....

Very nice relaxing place . Great selection of brews . Would prefer better food selection but not a deal breaker
