Las Casuelas Nuevas - Rancho Mirage

Our first visit to this fine establishment with our friends and we were throughly surprised. Friendly staff amidst a nicely designed interior makes this a very family friendly atmosphere. The food was top notch and we will definitely be back.

We love trying new Mexican restaurants and their food was delicious! For Forth of July it wasn’t packed we got seated right when we arrived around 5 pm for a party of 6. Mauricio was our server and was very polite very attentive the other staff were polite as well. Our plates were big very filling. The restaurant is hacienda like very elegant with outdoor and indoor seating. We will come back whenever we’re in Palm Springs area again.

This place was recommended to us by an are gallery, what a bad suggestion! 2 stars for locations cleanliness and service, no star for foods. Food was completely devoid of flavour, cooked by a cook with no training. One of the drinks was sent back it was awful. I finished my beer. Portions were enormous and that good for people who like quantity!!

I am very snobbish when it comes to Mexican food and have lived around many states and finding good Mexican food is always been a challenge.. I discovered this place accidentally driving up highway 111 one day. Me and some friends went and had a dinner here and all three of us were so highly impressed with no complaints about anything. The service was quick.. although the waiter didn't come back to check on us after delivering the meal but that's okay.. we were thoroughly enjoying our food so it didn't matter. The food was fantastic.. it came out very hot and it was tasty and fresh. the chips and salsa are really good. My girlfriend had a pineapple jalapeno margarita or something like that and fell in love with it. I am looking forward to going here again soon and frequently!! Highly recommend

This place was amazing! If you like Mexican good and love margaritas, you must come here. The entire restaurant indoors and outdoors is huge, but it doesn’t feel that way because of its layout and decor. We sat inside but in an area that was like we were sitting in the middle of an outdoor square. The margaritas were the best I’ve ever had definitely recommend getting their house margarita as it’s their award winning recipe. Large size it for a fishbowl sized wine glass! We got the Mexican salad and we’re so happy we did. It was very flavourful and fresh. The tortilla soup which was extremely tasty. And one of their plates: the Cancún. Also recommend doing a plate if you can’t decide what to order because you want everything. This came with 1 chicken taco, 1 chicken enchilada, 1 chicken stuffed poblano pepper, and refried beans and seasoned rice. The chicken taco was just plain, we added hot sauce to it, but everything else was phenomenal. We split the salad and plate between two of us and still could t finish it all.
