Emil's Lounge - Rankin

The restaurant did not live up to expectations, as the lingering smell of cigarette smoke and the cheap plastic decor gave it a trashy bar atmosphere. The food was average at best, with a bland fish sandwich served on a plain Italian bread that was overwhelming. The cabbage rolls were decent but nothing special. Overall, I was unimpressed and ended up paying over $50 for a lackluster meal.

Another wonderful experience at Emil's. The atmosphere is very nice; staff is terrific; food is delicious; prices are right. Since it's Lent and quite busy, the wait is a little long....but the meal is well worth it.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. The food is delicious and the server is very friendly.

A walk through the city broke in. I'm glad. Really delicious BLT and tasteful potato soup. Add a super friendly staff and you have a winner of a restaurant! Will definitely be back for the Chicken Parm! Stop for a bite. Like me, you'll be glad you did.
