Howard's Cafe - Rattan

We are on vacation from northern WI and ate here with our friends. It was awesome, I had steak and husband had taco salad. Served fast, hot and delicious.

Service was excellent, waitress was knowledgeable and had good menu recommendations. Our food came out fast and was piping hot. The chicken fried steak had a rich beefy flavor and crispy breading. Our drinks never ran empty and we were offered Togo cups. Bathroom was well lit and smelled clean. They even pre-bussed the table. 10/10.

Just your average small town cafe. Nothing fancy at all about the place but I've been here a few times now and service was great and the food was really good.

Great country cooking. Service is great and you are treated like family as soon as you walk in.

Service and staff were friendly. The restaurant was a life saver as I needed a restroom and it was the first one in a long time. That being said the restroom was awful the restaurant had definitely seen better days. I was hoping the food would redeem it but it was flavorless! Not sure if an attempt season was made.
