Consistent excellent! the well-trained staff offers them every need with excellent service. chef duke is constantly thrilling with his expertly prepared and wonderfully delicious meals. the bright star in red bank!
The two steaks medium rare they came medium well. everything else is very good. service concentrated and professional, but inexperienced do not know how to properly open and pour the wine, keep us updated to the kitchen status of our food precursor, refilling the glasses etc.
Food quality is excellent. Service is very attentive, but still somewhat inexperienced relative to the price of the food overfilling wine glasses, not decanting wine unless asked, not keeping the table apprised of the status of the food arrival (which can be slow sometimes). Chairs in dining room are not as comfortable as they look too heavy to move, set too low from the table. Food is too pricey $200 for a porterhouse steak for 2 people; $25 for sushi rolls that I can get around the corner at Bistro for $15. Being a byob helps with the pain of the food costs. Really enjoy the ease of getting a reservation and the ability to bring my own scotch and cigars into the cigar lounge.
