We had a table of 7 the night we went to Smittys. When we first walked in, a customer was quite upset over her bill; refusing to pay for a meal they couldn't eat. We should have left then....The waitress was so rude over the seating my mother had asked for and made her sit a specific spot. When we came in a couple minutes after, I came to the table and first thing I said is that it was to small. It was for 6, not 7 and I personally hate being jammed during a meal. So when the waitress came back, I said that we would like to be moved as it was to small. She was very rude; I told her that wasn't necessary at all. She walked away and said something to a different waitress. Then she yelled across for us to come sit. That was it with a glare as she stomped off like a 2 year old.The waitress we ended up getting was new so it had its moments but we understood. The food for some was decent. But the scrambled eggs--- OMG GROSS. Boxed eggs in a place that focuses on breakfast?!?!?!? Not impressed.All in all, we wont bother going back.

Love the .29 cent cheap wings everyday for happy hour from 4-6. good drink specials also. a lot of flavors to choose from

What was once a bustling Sunday brunch spot - offering the only reasonable priced (under $20) sunday Brunch buffet, has sadly been gutted. - Gone are 4 choices of hot dishes - cabbage rolls, stir fry, butter chicken, etc. (select items varied week to week) ... just empty hot trays- Gone are the fresh croissants - even though the sign was still there [Croissants]...- a minimum cold items on ice - Sorry, Red Deer Smitty's - you cannot attract people to a 2/3 filled items buffet bar, have numerous hot trays empty and expect us to pay full price - then come back again... - secret of a brunch is variety - most of us do not gorge on volume - it is about a bit of this and a bit of that... But then - we do not plan to return for the brunch anytime soon... so guess we will not find out...

We just stopped for breakfast & our waitress was very friendly, brought us coffee (it could be stonger) & took our order. Our breakfast of omelettes, hash browns, toast came to us so quick, we thought it might have all be prepared before, but it was hot & very tasty ! Great breakfast for a great price !
