Last Saturday we ordered a large order for Family. My brother wanted a Seafood option so ordered the Seafood Combination after checking by phone what this dish had included what the Menu stated, we also ordered 6 other dishes, so a fairly large order of about $80.00 total. When we arrived to collect, no offer of free Prawn Chips until we asked and not even a Thank You for the purchase. Seems Thank You is not in some Asian vocabulary! When we got home, my Brother started his meal, found two small prawns an what could be loosely identified as a piece of Scallop, no Calamari, no FISH AND THE REMAINDER WAS STEAMED VEGETABLE , sorry virtually a plastic box of steamed vegetables for $17.00, he abandoned the meal and shared some of the Chicken and Beef we also ordered. The Special fried rice had slices of dried up Pork on top similiar to the serving we last ordered, totally inedible and the dog got that, poor doggy, and at about $8.50 a serve, not approaching good value. Sorry GOOD TASTE, it wasn't great value and a real disappointment for a potentially good family get-together and a total ripoff, shame for the low quality, we will never buy a takeaway from you again, and we do not expect you will ever respond to this review, because you will never apologise for such **** service and poor quality. Good Bye for ever.
Have been a customer for many years and always had excellent food and service, and couldn't get a seat there on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as manyTakeaway orders. But it has changed ownership over a year ago, in my opinion no longer as good. We have still continued to go there on occasion, but on two of these recently late 2017 have arrived to collect large food order and they had lost our order. Along with us, others who arrived while I was waiting, found a mixup with theirs also, we waited over an hour to get it. About one month ago the same thing happened again and when we finally opened it at home, we discovered that the Special Fried Rice was not fresh, looked like it was a reheated leftover from previous day, also one dish was about half the regular serving size from previous times. I do not think I will go back again, sorry Good Taste.
Decided to order takeaways from our favourite local chinese again. In 4.5 years living nearby we remain impressed with the quality of food and the value for our money. We're going to keep going!!!!
Have been coming here since it opened and consider it to be one of the best Chinese foods in Brisbane, BUT we have never experienced such poor service in my life as was experienced tonight. We ordered at 6.05 and there were only 2 tables occupied at the time albeit we saw some huge settings for later bookings. Our entree's came quickly and were consumed in 10 minutes maximum; then in came the people for those larger tables and our main orders didn't materialize as the asian occupants of those larger tables were treated like royalty and started receiving their dishes. After inquiring we received our Honey Chicken (after another 20 minutes wait); then after complaining we received the Mongolian Lamb and were asked if we would accept steamed rice rather than fried rice as it was still cooking???? finally we received the rice all lumpy and dumped on a plate , still waiting for the Japanese Beef which finally arrived after another 15 minutes. Have known Mai and Ping since they started this place and despite my love of their food shall never ever return! Absolutely disgusted with their very obvious preferential treatment of others!
