Platinum Thai Restaurant - Redland City

We placed an order for takeout, went to pick it up, but it was mistakenly given to another customer with the same name. They ended up repeating our order again. We paid for it, brought it home, only to discover that it was incorrect. We were very hungry and disappointed. When we called to inform them, all we received was a non-apologetic "oh, my bad" from a young employee over the phone. We will not be ordering from there again.

I ordered a special appetizer for my son and me. The coconut prawns were inedible, while the satay skewers were just okay. The estimated wait time was 20-40 minutes, but it took an hour. We only live down the road. The deep-fried ice cream was burnt to a crisp, and the deep-fried banana had hair in it. I am very upset.

I ordered three dishes from the menu - pad thai, pumpkin vegetables, and beef salad. All three dishes were practically inedible and made me feel sick. They were served in hot boxes, which made it seem like they were from a gas station and not a proper restaurant. I feel sorry for the owner, as it looks like they haven't changed their ways. I suggest they change their chef or menu. Unfortunately, we had to throw away all the food and go to McDonald's instead. Good luck to them in the future.

Food is terrible! Worst meal I’ve ever had. Gave this place a second chance after a few years thinking the quality may have improved, well that was a mistake! Food is over oily and tasteless. What a waste of money!
