Japonica Redondo Beach

One word, excellent. Service, food, atomosphere. Excellent. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server Craig was super helpful with suggestions on sushi and sake. Plum sake was a delicious aperitif. Try the White Lightening. TRUST ME you will not be disappointed. It's #1 for a reason. It literally melts in your mouth. The butter sauce is so delicious. The ramen is definitely some of the best I've had a while. Outdoor seating is available. Not too long of a wait. Would highly recommend this place. If you're in the Redondo area, check this place out.

Absolutely incredible. The soy sauce was such a elegant touch I haven't seen anywhere else. House smoked soy sauce. The food was extremely fresh. They even have a selection of craft japanese imported beers. If your reading this review to decide on this restaurant, please dine here. You will not be disappointed

Super fresh selection! We started our lunch with the Chicken Gyozas and Miso Soups. Both were really good.For entrees:Original Ramen good texture, but strong sesame tasteHamachi Carpaccio so fresh and thinly sliced! Excellent choice! It almost melted in your mouthKyoto Kryptonite delicious flavor and seasoning was spot on; wasn’t too spicy (mild)Rainbow Roll a classic choiceRolls come with 8 pieces but I highly recommend ordering more than you think (depending on your party size too)Dessert:Strawberry and Matcha Mochi ice cream was mouthwatering. My girlfriend and I came Valentines morning and had the restaurant to ourselves. Sushi was fantastic, some of the best we’ve ever had (reasonable prices too). I didn’t get the host/manager’s name but he was awesome, very attentive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and try the smoked soy sauce! 10/10 would come back again

Came here with some friends.Tried rolls id never heard of.The presentation was excellent, fresh sushi, a variety of rolls that are new and exciting from typical.Loved the appetizers too.Staff and servers were friendly and accommodating. Food came in timely manner.Priced accordingly.Great environment.
