Bidra med feedbackI am extremely pleased with this incredible steakhouse. It far surpasses other well-known steak chains I've visited in the past. The salad was beautifully presented and delicious, the steak tartare was unbelievable, and the trio steak simply melted in my mouth. I will definitely be returning!
Rex Steakhouse gets a score of 5 out of 10. However, the service provided by Justin was exceptional, a perfect 10 out of 10. I was seated promptly as per my reservation and enjoyed a complimentary glass of prosecco to start. The tuna crudo was the best I've ever tasted, and I also had the mushroom pappardelle, which was very delicious. For my main course, I ordered the whole branzino, cooked to perfection, while my partner had the New York steak and the ribeye. We also tried the Captain's cocktail shrimp and the homemade pistachio ice cream. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The only downside was that the steaks took a long time to arrive; it took about 30 minutes for them to cook, and then they let them sit. Nonetheless, they tasted wonderful, and I will definitely be returning—and I've already been back!
I had the best dining experience in California with a perfect 10/10 for service! The food was outstanding; I ordered the NY strip, and it was easily the best steak I’ve ever had. Our server, Justin, was incredibly helpful and took the time to go over the menu with us to help us choose our drinks, appetizers, and main course. It was a nice touch when both the manager, Franklin, and Chef Walter stopped by our table to check on us. I will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the LA area. Thank you!
We were walk ups so the only available seats were at the bar. If you are 5?3? or shorter bar seating maybe a bit problematic. However there are purse hooks under the bar yeah! The bartender was welcoming gave us dinner and cocktail menus. . We sawanother couple with bread and butter and ordered that to start. We ordered a bottle of Voss still and I had a glass ofsparkling red wine. . I had the jerk Cornish game hen with frisée and my husband filet mignon with creamy mash potatoes. Nodessert maybe next time. We will be back with a reservation next time.
I ordered the 40oz bone in ribeye for $160. The picture below is the 40oz? let?s just say the vast majority of it was the bone. My wife and I got a couple slices each and left hungry. Also, I could cook a better steak on my grill. If your looking for agood steak, go to Morton?s and/or Ruth?s Chris, this place cannot compare and costs more. In short, I ordered two drinks, onesteak and some mushrooms on the side. Cost about $280 after taxes and left underwhelmed by the quality of meat and disappointedin the ridiculous price for how little steak was actually on the plate. I will say the service was great and the bartender wassuper nice and informative (10/10 on the bartender). Maybe the other steaks are better, but the 40oz tomahawk ribeye for ?two?,will definitely leave you underwhelmed and underfed.
