Bidra med feedbackDespite arriving for our reservation, which I had made in November, we were informed that the restaurant did not accept reservations and only operated on a ticket system for New Year's Eve. Additionally, they did not use OpenTable. This left us feeling extremely disappointed as we had nowhere to celebrate the New Year. It was clear that we were not the only ones in this situation.
We had been excited to visit the Tan Hill for some time, but we were disappointed with having to wait in line at the bar every time we wanted a drink or food. Unfortunately, there were not enough staff members, who were doing their best to accommodate everyone's needs. The beer selection was impressive and there was a cozy fire.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the scenery is beautiful.
Food was ok, but very expensive for basic pub grub. Wait at the bar was rediculas, most of the time 3 or 4 people queueing with one person serving. Band was great!
Total chaos! Understaffed queues at the bar were terrible, not enough staff. Food wasn’t good, chips were overcooked and the burger was undercooked, the nachos had hardly any cheese. Certainly won’t be going back to eat.
