Bidra med feedbackThe dessert was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, featuring whipped cream, mousse, and a drizzle of chocolate. The portion sizes were generous, making the price feel very justified.
If anyone discovers a good pizza place in Delaware, please share! I found the crust to be soggy, and the sauce was excessively sweet—definitely not like traditional marinara or pizza sauce. I've had great pizza in other states, but most of the options around Rehoboth have an odd texture, and the crust resembles bread. I suspect this might be due to the local water supply. The low rating is primarily because the sauce tasted like sweetened canned tomato paste rather than proper pizza sauce. Additionally, the pizza didn't seem to be handled with care; it arrived in the back of an open pickup truck.
The pizza is good and the ingredients are a much better quality than other pizza joints in a tourist town. The pepperoni has a great crispness and flavor! The veggies in the salad were also fresh as heck too! I didnt have my dressing though, but it just means I have a salad for tomorrow! The stuffed mushrooms were good, per my husband. There was plenty of cheese and the crab was there.
What went well??? Everything! It was my first time getting a pizza from Casa DiLeo, and of course, if you're getting anything from Casa, you have to try their meatballs. As always, my experience with Casa DiLeo was fantastic—they hit the mark like a Roman soldier along the Appian Way. Casa DiLeo is consistently excellent!
Cant stop eating this pizza its so good! And the staff is so friendly and helpful!
