The New Emperor Chinese Takeaway

This was our first time ordering takeout from here, after experiencing issues with other Chinese restaurants in Horley. Our entire family, including three young children, thoroughly enjoyed the food. One thing that stood out was that the food was not greasy or heavy. We were able to eat a lot without feeling overly full afterwards. It was reassuring to see that they had a 5 food hygiene rating as well. We regret not trying New Emperor sooner and hope for the same great experience next time. This may become our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Horley.

I almost didn't go in because the outside didn't look very inviting, but I'm glad I did. The food was very good and I would recommend it.

I cannot find any faults with this Chinese takeout restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. I especially love the Salt and Pepper Squid and the Kung Po Prawn dishes. Just thinking about them makes my mouth water!

Four visits and four missing dishes each time. They do it on purpose. Happens too often to be coincidence. I am around £38 down from all the dishes they have kept but charged me for. Definately a strategy they have, maybe some will complain and they put it right but at the end of the month they must be getting away with hundreds of pounds of STOLEN food.
