Capriotti's Sandwich Shop - Reno

I went in and had the Vegetarian Chicken Cheese Steake, ordered with all the dairy taken off. If I were to have taken this home and added my own things to it you probably would have been very delicious. But I was working doing food delivery and it was very dry despite asking them to put other condiments on. A vegan cheese sauce or a vegan Mayo would take this so much farther and make them so much more enticing to vegan eaters.

Be sure to double check the allergen menu when ordering! Their impossible philly cheesesteak is sooo good without cheese (I just add mine at home). They have a vegan philly chicken too or sliced vegan turkey if you like deli style subs. This location is super close to UNR so it 's convenient when you 're with omni friends, but doesn 't have vegan mayo or as many vegan options as Ike 's up the street

Anyone who tries this sandwich shop for the first time.. beware..it is highly addictive! My personal favorite is the capristramie! I've heard their line of Philly is awesome though I haven't tried them yet.

Amazing steak sandwich, they even cut the meat exactly as I asked.
