Bidra med feedbackThat was very sweet. Not sure if I really do this for a Girls Night location because it's more than anything for dinner. If you have a big party call for a stand, otherwise the tables seem kind of small and you need to move them together to be close. Make sure you pay for everything. EVEN THE WATER. We decided on the seafood tower that was 165. It was a decent amount for the 3 of us. The oysters were kind, but still good. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Probably would go for the actual date, but see how I think intimately.
I took my friend for my birthday tonight. I had been there with a friend as an incentive for the moment, and once again with my father to Father's Day. Charlie Palmer brought a game tonight. The entire staff was on the point of the person who gives you water and bread Travis, to the wonderful people who come and pass to help clear your table as you go, Jacob, who packaged our orders, and of course our beautiful servers Mona. We started with cocktails I had the S5 that was positive. It's like a tired strawberry vodka-based drink served in a chic martini glass, my friend had the corpse maker who has a drop of absinthe. For appetizers we enjoyed the Scallops, the schishito Paprika and oysters Rockefeller. All three were a piece of heaven and completely divine. We didn't know what to expect from the schishito paprika, but we were pleasantly surprised when they cooked very tastefully to perfection and not too sharp on the mouth. For our duck and sides we shared a 16 oz ribeye steak, 1 lb of king crab legs, baked potato, potatoes Au Gratin, framed spinach and mushroom Medley. We asked for the medium of rarity and stain on medium rarely came and melt well in your mouth. We had it with sauces chimichurri and creamy horseradish. For dessert we ordered the Lemonenmeyer cheesecake and because it was my friend's birthday, we were surprised with a small piece of birthday red velvet cake. Everything was really extraordinary taste profile wise. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the framed spinach. It's not terrible that I prefer the ones I make myself more. And there are so many delicious things to eat here, why not choose something I really find exceptional. To clean our pallets, we were supplied a piece of dark chocolate. It was so smooth and creamy and decadent. This is definitely a pricier meal in Reno but good the money and quality of foods and regarding the portions you receive along with the beauty of the coating.
Solid steakhouse. The prawn cocktail was a disappointment. 5 small shrimp was not worth the price, i suggest skip it. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. I got lucky and there was hardly any fat on my piece. I added the chimichurri sauce, horrible choice. It was some sort of cream dressing. It well overpowered the steak. Broccoli and the Mac and cheese were a great pairing. The Old Fashion was a great cocktail worth a second round because the Manhattan didn 't have the special house spirit and they wanted me to add another kind for 2x-3x the price depending what I got. Overall: solid steak, great atmosphere, good service, skip the extras.
We had our new year?s eve dinner here and I was pretty disappointed. Good: food was awesome, specifically the New York steak, pureed potatoes and cheesecake. Not good: they served a warm french onion soup, not hot, taste was a tad bland; our waiter was not as attentive as expected for a fine-dining restaurant. He gave us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert. Hmmm?.
So my friends and I went to a steakhouse in Reno the night before and were very disappointed with the food. We decided we wanted to make it up by going to another steakhouse! The 4 of us decided to go to Charlie Palmer steakhouse located inside the Grand Sierra Resort hotel. A truly fantastic meal from start to finish! The initial break basket came out hot and no butter needed. The Tomahawk and Ribeye steaks were both flavorful and cooked just right medium rare. King Crab legs came out steaming hot and just needed a dip of butter for a luxurious taste and bite! Sides were good as well. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food dues to the shortage of workers but we were very understanding. Hannah, our great server did a good job of taking good care of us! All 4 of us left very satisfied!
