Hong Kong Diner - Reno

The food is okay at best but the service is terrible. Staff are rude/dismissive.

I started with the Hot Sour soup, followed by General Tso's chicken and white rice. I must applaud their portion sizes here. The soup was ok and left no lasting impression apart from containing a pork-like mystery meat. The chicken appeared to be an overcooked, heavy batter but this was not the case. It was fine. I found the sauce to be in line with other similar lower budget, lower quality Chinese places.Interestingly, the total bill was over $24.00 and right at $30.00 after a 20% tip, which feels excessive to me.

While picking up an order for Doordash, the lady working here told me to come back when I could eat because I'm too skinny!! ? In a funny, friendly way. Clean restaurant, always smells amazing, freshly prepared meals for decent cost, and I'm obviously a fan of the staff. Haha. Our son goes to eat here often. Nice little spot for a bite.

Great service. Great food. The place is clean and very comfortable atmosphere. My husband is very satisfied with the food. Vegetarian options: I have an eggplant dish that was very delicious. Steam rice and dor my husband I got him a wor wonton soup and ho fun noodles we loves it.
