Visiting from the Bay (Cali) family and I decided to go out of our hotel and have dinner, came across this place on yelp.

I've eaten here a solid three times and I can honestly say that the service every time has been slow and the restaurant has always empty.

I been a devoted La Fonda Customer for over a year now.

Amazing Mexican food! friend ordered carne asada and enchiladas. I ordered the carnitas that were both brilliant! the asada had a citrus taste and was super refreshing. carnitas had some saltiness to him, which was super good, especially because I got some skin pieces

The place has a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and relaxing music. we start our meal with chorizo and nachos as an appetizer and I found all washed with how delectable it is. the chorizo is naughty and fresh and shows how delicious l homemade it is. the nachos are a perfect tasty bite. the bark meat is super soft, as other reviewers have said, which texture actually works well with the mild nachos, good if it 't for the nacos chips that end on soggy, but that is the pause with nachos to my experience. reports about the fried beans tasting funny are not completely unusable, as the fried beans are made a little different, which I guess has to do with the choice of the cheese in it. that doesn't make it bad. I feel indifferent by this new taste, while my mother enjoys it right. for the main course I ordered a burrito ranchro. Now I'm not sure how it works, how a one-pot packed into a tortilla. I was surprised to bite into a burrito that was so well preserved and dry on the outside only for the inner, with so much meat and lean in there own juicy broth with more of the cheese in the fried beans and to prefect others as spicy so that kick, the foods send these pleasure signals to her brain. I came here, feared not to know if I got what I got, but I was pleasantly disappointed and look forward to my protected taste buds from this place being proven wrong again and again. the tacos meat, instead of being melted like the rest of the meat, was grilled to a chew, but firmly enjoy me, and mother could no longer wish anything from others, then for it also be covered incheese.
