I recently discovered this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! As a Midwesterner, I wasn't expecting much from breakfast spots in Washington, but this place had a cozy, homey diner atmosphere. The food is made fresh to order, and I watched as a customer next to me piled biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, and hash browns on top of each other. The staff knew most of the customers by name, and everything seemed to be made from scratch. Ms. Stacy, in particular, was extremely welcoming. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the menu is great. I wish they would have asked for proof of vaccination as they are supposed to. I also appreciate that the cook has a tip jar.
