Old School Eatery - Revelstoke

Dinner was quite disappointing. My son, who is a huge burger fan, didn't enjoy the one at Old School, and I also tried it after he rejected it and found it unappetizing. My other son felt the same way. The bao was decent, but the pancake was served cold. The birria tacos were okay but quite greasy. The lamb chops were passable, but nothing special. All of this came to $118, which felt overpriced. The French fries were dry and hard, a real letdown. On the plus side, the school setting is appealing.

Neat ambience and building, didn’t have a reservation (Tuesday 6.30pm) but were seated at the bar. Pretty good comfort food, shared a chicken parm and a side salad. The salad dressing was tad on the sweet side. No other complaints.

We appeared directly at the opening and it is very quickly filled, definitely recommend booking. The service was incredible! We had our 2 years old with us and the staff had a Booster seat that met us at the table. As soon as we ordered, they asked if we wanted to let our daughters eat first; very accommodating! The food was amazing, the drinks were great. Really great place!

Gracious hostess greeted us on arrival. Very energetic and knowledgeable server. Nice high end casual place. It?s never too late to go back to school!
