Bidra med feedbackHad one of the best culinary experiences here in 2018. Tryed foie gras for the first time and I must say it is as exquisite as they say it is. The place has a large dining room atmosphere and everything is set up to make you feel that it is worth the price. Would definitely come back to dinate here as soon as the international journey of COVID-19 is unimpeded.
What an outstanding restaurant and amazing, top notch service. The food was impeccable and utterly delicious! I am so impressed with this establishment. The lobster soup was exquisite and the beef just melted in my mouth. Another Reykjavik establishment that I can recommend wholeheartedly and unabashedly, a must visit.
Had dinner here last week after exploring the city, visiting Hallgrimskirkja, and walking down rainbow street. My wife and I had the 3 course dinner that cost about US $102 and was absolutely delicious! It included lobster soup, tenderloin steak with veggies and potatoes, and lava cake with ice cream for dessert. The place itself was stylish and clean and the service was great. They also have a game meat menu and a more exotic menu that we didn't get to try. Perhaps on our next visit.
Really really good dinner here. Was looking for a tenderlion in Reykjavik and this is where we ended up. Big tenderloin and pork ribs to share was so delicious. Pepper sauce that came with steak was awesome too. Loved the complimentary bread and dip for entree too. Steak lovers this is the spot!
Very nice upstairs place. Had the puffin. It was very interesting and tattered a bit like bacon without the fat. The whale was tender and a bit like elk and really tasty. The lamb was the best I have ever tasted bar none. Steak was a bit tough so if you have good steak where you are from I would pass. The salads and dessert were very good. Beer was great. This place is worth the visit.
