My mom and I stopped here for breakfast on our first day in Iceland from the airport. The view was nice, overlooking the water. Parking was free and close by. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my cappuccino. My breakfast was delicious as well. The price is a little high for me, but the view made up for it.
Our first official meal at iceland. Near the harbour of Reykjavik and certainly one of the oldest store along this stretch. Got to know this place from my landlord who came here sometime ago. Her itinerary was superbly done tbh. Although this is a bit pricey, like about sgd 35+ per pax which is around this price in singapore too but difference is the weather and surrounding. You will never be able to enjoy such fish n chip in SG while here you get the hot sun at 2pm with aircon breeze along the sea what else can you expect? Shiok! With pepsi and the uh tar tar sauces very nice!
Had a wonderful breakfast at the oldest restaurant in Reykjavik. Short wallk from nearby hotel. Good selection of omelets, eggs, pastries, meats. Good coffee. Reasonable prices. Portion size was generous and the food was delicious. Restaurant was full of locals which is usually a good sign. Highly recommended for breakfast
This is one of those places where you step back in time when you enter. A nice selection of traditional Icelandic cakes, pastries and open-faced sandwiches as well as a menu of fish-based main courses. They have an espresso machine if you want to go for that, but there’s something satisfying about picking one of the assorted cups from a box to hold your drip coffee. Various breakfast options available in the morning. When the weather allows, the outdoor seating area offers a nice view of the harbour and the boats.
