We saw the bubbles on our way into town and just had to check them out! SR BBQ offers outdoor dining in individual clear tents/bubbles complete with heaters! The BBQ pulled chicken was amazing as was the hearty corn bread (toasted yum! The chocolate chip lava cake was a great way to end a GREAT dinner experience. Highly recommend!

I love ribs and this was hands down, the best ribs I ever had. I don’t give 5 stars often but the ribs were soooo good. The service was very good. Atmosphere was ok. Had a banana cream pie for desert and that was just soso.

Very enjoyable dining experience. The staff was pleasant and accommodating! Our waitress was super and very sweet. We ate outdoors, under a canopy and were first served with complementary chicken soup. The food was excellent. Probably one of the best bbq brisket and ribs I have ever eaten, and that includes Texas bbq! Also loved the sweet potato fries and cornbread! I highly recommend Smoky Rock if you enjoy smoked bbq food!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant while visiting Rhinebeck over Memorial Day weekend. We were seated outside on the porch, which was lovely. We enjoy having an assortment of different bbq meats instead of just one large serving of one meat, and we wanted to try their made-in-house pastrami, so we ordered the Smoked BBQ Sampler appetizer and a pastrami sandwich (which comes with your choice of a side) to share. We had LOTS of food, and it was all AMAZING!! If you are a pastrami lover, you have GOT to try this melt in your mouth pastrami. I have honestly never had better! As our side with the sandwich, we chose the sweet potato fries, which came with a maple dipping sauce.... SO DELICIOUS!! We can't wait to come back again!

We have been here several times over the years as the bbq was always good, but have no been here since since COVID. We walked in and found no one at the entrance. We waited 5 and no employee ever showed up so we left. But maybe it was for the best as we saw the menu while waiting and the prices seem to have at least doubled. Hope the food and service improved.
