Plant B - Richardson

I visited the restaurant, which is marketed as vegan/vegetarian, but to my surprise, they informed me that there were no vegetarian options available. This was quite confusing. Additionally, I struggled to open the heavy door, and despite being observed, the staff didn’t offer any assistance until I called out for help.

Plant B is a ghost kitchen located inside DogHous. The food preparation seems to be uniform, with no distinct differences. If you're vegan, you might want to be cautious, as it appears that the food is prepared on the same grill as regular meat. My husband and I spent a total of $50 for two burgers, fries, and one drink each. The burgers were mediocre, especially considering the price. The burger bun is actually made by stacking four Hawaiian bun sliders together. Also, it was incredibly hot inside, even with the windows rolled down in the 99-degree Texas weather. To top it off, the chair was quite sticky.

Plant B is apparently a “virtual restaurant” running within Dog Haus. This is not clearly advertised and makes finding the location difficult. I ended up not ordering anything as they did not have vegan bread (which is annoying as bread is usually vegan) and therefore could not serve most of their burgers except on a lettuce wrap. Many of their other dishes are also only vegetarian and would require extensive omissions/substitutions likely without a reduction in the price.

I tried the Gooey Lewis and it is incredible! I’m coming back for another one soon! I only gave them 4 stars because the food is kinda expensive. The price they’re charging for 1 burger should come with fries or tots. It’s ridiculous they’re charging $5 for fries/tots.Also, Plant B is a virtual restaurant located inside Dog Haus. Their fries/tots are $4…might as well order your fries/tots from them.

I been thinking about this place since my boyfriend and I ate there 2 weeks ago, everything is so tasty and delicious I didn't want my meal to end! The flavors are so amazing, and on top of that they don't use regular buns they us Hawaiian ROLLS! So tasty, I will be back.
