Gersi - Richmond

Just fantastic. Space is a little tight, but the food, the cocktails, the staff... everything was great. Can't wait to go back...black gnocchi with gulf shrimp?

Updated review: Took another chance on Gersi take out and it was incredible. Last order had to of been a fluke. Received Togo order tonight—food was hot but lacked flavor and texture. Pappardelle Lamb Ragu noodles were overcooked and soggy. Chicken parm was not crispy as usual. Only two pieces of bread and beans had a strange taste. Pickup orders used to be great not sure I’ll do it again.

The atmosphere was loud, dark and dingy. The staff was very friendly and helpful However, the food was not what I expected since a friend had recently recommended to me. I will not come back.

Drinks, apps, entree, dessert and service all 5 out of 5! After my first visit, I must recommend you to make plans to visit Gersi! You Must visit!

Me and 5 friends. 6 total, 3 couples. We made 7:30p reservations weeks in advance. Didn 't get seated until close to 8. I think they tried to push the group in front of us out but the hey can you wrap up, we have a reservation after you line always has the opposite effect.Didn 't get food until close to 9, then they messed up the bill. We should 've been more assertive asking for a comp on the drinks we ordered, but I also would 've expected them to extend the offer since we made reservations and still waited for a table.Loud, service is slow, crowded. It would make for a fun vibe if they weren 't constantly messing up orders (we had 3-4 dishes brought to us that were actually for other tables and breaking dishes (seriously sounded like plates were getting smashed every 10 minutes.
