Pizza Bones Rva - Richmond

I go often with my family for their delicious pizza, super friendly staff, and attentive service. Excellent wine selection. Supreme vibes. We are so lucky to have PB in Richmond!

Driven by often and just haven't had the time to stop. Finally got by and wow! Absolutely not disappointed. Loved the crust. Seems like a little bit of sourdough and just perfectly crunchy. Pepperoni was excellent, and they put on generous toppings that covered the pizza. The basil, oregano, and garlic are delicious and make the whole thing pop. Really loved the beer and wine selection, too. I'm definitely coming back even if it's just take out.

I first tried Pizza Bones when they were doing pop-ups out of Carytown Cupcakes' kitchen in 2020, and got hooked! I enjoy how they cook the pizza pretty well, where the crust is crispy. It is a thinner style crust, which is my favorite kind! Basil, garlic, cheese is always flowing and keeping it flavorful. I was thrilled to learn they were getting their brick mortar, though Church Hill is a little hike from Carytown, I'll make it for them. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. I enjoy that they offer online ordering as well, and you receive text updates about your order.It's also cool that they utilize their space for pop-ups and markets from time to time, for other local vendors. They have one of my favorite cheese pizzas in Richmond. Pictured is a recent special they ran this past week--Jalapeño Popper--so unique and so good!

Honestly, I first saw this place on Tiktok. After reading the reviews I decided to check it out. I was very underwhelmed. The pizza itself has good amount of cheese and is very juicy, just not enough flavor. It really was just.. ok. I ordered 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni. The pepperoni was again rather bland and dare I say it? Too salty. I probably won't go back, not because it was horrible. Just because there are too many other pizza places here to try and a few that I actually do love. Nice atmosphere, location and staff though.

Ordered a mushroom pizza well done and it was prepared just the way we like it. This is the first pizza shop we’ve ever been to that didn’t have sausage on the menu thus the reason for 4 stars. Nice drink selections and a nice outdoor atmosphere. Reasonably priced menu.
