Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Richmond

This was my second time trying the LIMITED TIME 6Pc Wings, and once again, they forgot to include the ranch dressing. I think they mistakenly gave me the ghost pepper flavor instead of the sweet heat. It was way too spicy for my taste. It seems like Popeyes really struggles with quality control for DoorDash orders, as they haven’t managed to get a single order right for me yet.

I didn’t receive any of my sauces, and the mac and cheese was just okay. However, the rest of the meal was quite good. The limited-time 12-piece wings, which were sweet and spicy, still had a nice crunch, and the ¼ pound popcorn shrimp dinner was also tasty.

The chicken tenders are fantastic, and you can't forget about the red beans and rice!

This restaurant is always bustling with activity, so be prepared to wait in line most of the time. However, the food is absolutely delicious. Parking is convenient, and the staff are very polite.

I absolutely love the fried chicken here! The green beans, coleslaw, Cajun rice, and Cajun fries are all delicious. The corn on the cob, rice and beans, and biscuits are also fantastic. I couldn't find the pecan pie today, which is my favorite dessert! My only complaint is that the staff isn't always welcoming or friendly. I used to work at Popeyes about six years ago, and I always made an effort to be friendly, so there’s really no excuse for not providing good customer service.
