Subcentral - Richmond

Subcentral is great! We stopped on the fly and were accommodated just as we came in. You can see that the cook provides everything directly behind the counter, and he used gloves and a face mask - both mouth and nose - during the preparation of our food. The decor inside is very simple, but what to expect in a Greek-influenced restaurant. They have both tables and cabins, their toilets are clean and the service is relatively fast. The cook even went the extra mile while the packaging of our foods too-go and was sure our tzaziki on the side to avoid that the Gyros soggy. He said I never had a gyro like him, and he was right! As enthusiastic gyro enthusiasts this was a pleasure - I would even go to say the best gyros in Richmond! We will certainly come back, and very soon.

Quiet little Greek restaurant in the heart of Richmond's financial district. Decor is simple and clean. Food is authentic. The owner was my server, and he piled on the meat on my souvlaki. I'll be back to try other offerings. I love good Greek food.

I was gonna give this place 4 stars but this cheesesteak I got today was awesome! I came here yesterday and bought a gyro which was pretty good, but he handed me the sauce in a souffle cup and I could only scoop it on the top of the gyro instead of the sauce being throughout. But today I figured I go back, since I'm in town for the week at a construction site down the road. I'm so glad I did, I'm stuffed and satisfied. Really great toasted bread and steak was seasoned and chopped like I like. Great job guys!

Reliable, good food and portion sizes and prices. They are a good family run Greek restaurant with a robust menu.

I work downtown and eat here almost everyday of the week. This is a family owned establishment and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Lately I’ve been on a chicken salad kick and theirs is absolutely delicious. I also really like the gyro with fries always made to order. Give them a try!
