Bidra med feedbackI have no idea why this restaurant isn 't more highly rated. Perhaps because it is combined with the hotel?? While it appears under the same name, the restaurant is actually called 'The Six '. A lot of the photos on Tripadvisor are pre renovation and I would suggest going to the website to see what it looks like now really attractive. I went with 3 friends for Sunday lunch and we had the pork belly, beef and fish. We were in complete agreement that we had not had a comparable Sunday lunch anywhere in the vicinity. It was extremely good. You were asked how you 'd like the beef cooked (not very common with Sunday lunch). The roast potatoes were amazing. The batter on the haddock was beautifully light. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
Very attentive staff, orders taken straight away, G&T/Margarita. Starters Goats cheese/rabbit terrine lovely. Mains, beef/pork belly, served with proper roast pots. My only comment is, would have liked to have the offer of more veg. Really enjoyable lunch and including drinks/wine/tip £65 a head I’ve paid more for Pizza dinner! Fabulous deffo recommend!!
We were looking for somewhere local to have Sunday lunch. Over the past few months we’d been trying all of the restaurants/ pubs in the area to find out ‘favourite’. The Six Restaurant at The Kings Arms is at the top of the list. The food was amazing. The roast beef and in particular the gravy is sublime. We were too stuffed for dessert! The staff were very friendly and service was at the right pace between courses. The only minor point was it lacked a little ambience as it was very quiet, which surprised us given how good the food is. We can’t wait to bring family and friends here, as we know they’ll also think The Six is a great find!
The first time I went to Kings arms was as a student , many years ago , it was a fabulous old pub , It’s reinvented itself recently as a hotel restaurant . We were a party of 8 Saturday lunchtime celebrating a birthday for my brother in law . I had the steak tartare , and Plaice , accompanied by some fab wines , if you’re visiting Hampton Court or just a local like me , I highly recommend this place , book yourself a table and treat yourself .
Excellent food, freshly made. This is the main feature of this restaurant. We visited today the Six restaurant within the King's Arms Hotel with my family and we all have been extremely impressed with the food. We have tried several different dishes and we could not find anything at all that was anything but perfect. Starting from the bread, freshly made served with an excellent butter, ending with the ice-cream, rich and silky, everything was well above our expectations. We shared a local charcuterie board which was lovely , especially the coppa. I had corzetti for started and my wife the scotch egg. Both dishes were perfectly executed and cooked on point. The scotch egg with the running yolk and perfectly fried was excellent. The corzetti were rich and tasty, nicely al dente and the broad beens were nice and sweet cutting the richness of the dish. We also tried the agnolotti, which were just perfect. The rich flavour of the goat cheese was well balanced by the fresh cherry tomatoes and the light broth. These are definitely a MUST ! I had the Saffron risotto and my wife went for the fish and chips. The risotto was very uncommon to find) perfectly cooked with the mantecatura executed to perfection. It was well balanced on the flavour and the saffron aromatic note was not hidden by any other flavour. Just the cheese and butter to complete but not overtaking the main aroma. Our son had a burger, nice and juicy and served with a freshly made brioche bun. Even if it was from the kids menu it showed that attention and care were put also for the children food, exactly as it was for the adults. The ice-cream to finish was delicious. Rich and silky. The service was warm, friendly and precise. We had a bottle Gavi and it was extremely nice. Definitely a place that we will visit again in the future and that would recommend to anyone to visit.
