Bowerbird, Tapas And Gin

My partner and I recently had our engagement at Bowerbird Bar and it was perfect! We had an exclusive event with about 50 people and the space worked so well! It's a great venue and the selection of gin, beers and wines was fantastic. Everyone raved about the food and it was all spaced out well. Max made planning this event so much easier and was spot on with all his advice. Additionally, him and his team were absolute legends on the night and were so accomodating. I recently had my 50th birthday at Bowerbird Bar it was nothing short of amazing! Max was great to deal with on the lead up and was a fabulous host accommodating any request throughout the night, he and his team were awesome and engages well with my guests. It was a great setup for playing your own music and also had a projector screen, perfect for a slideshow. Food was well spaced for the night guests were more than satisfied. It was an excellent venue with great food, atmosphere and high quality selection of gin, wine and beer. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough for an exclusive event for 50-60 guests. I was eager to visit bowerbird gin bar, but ultimately found it to be underwhelming. While nothing was terrible, I have had better experiences at other places for the same price. The atmosphere felt a bit stagnant and the lighting was too bright. The $60 food board I ordered was not worth the value. The cocktails were a mixed bag, with some being excellent and others falling short. The highlight of the night was the coffee Negroni. Overall, the price per person ranged from A$60-80. Food: 2/5, Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.

My partner and I recently held our engagement party at Bowerbird as a private event, and we were extremely pleased with how everything turned out. Max was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions leading up to the event and during the night. His estimates for the food and drink expenses were accurate, ensuring that all 45 of our guests were well-fed and well-liquored without going over our budget. I heard great things about the food options, although I was too busy socializing to try any myself, and the drinks were top-notch. The two bartenders working that night were fantastic--efficient, professional, and friendly. Max timed the food service perfectly, even making sure we had leftover dessert to enjoy at home. The music was great all night and Max was there when we needed him. I would happily host another event at Bowerbird and will definitely be returning for drinks and snacks regularly.
