Green Fusion - Ridgewood

I am leaving this very intentional review in the hopes that the owners will heed this advice. The food here is sensational. The pairings, the flavors, the preparation; has all been raved about both times I’ve been here in the last three months. First time with eight people and the most recent with four.My two stars is for the service. The service wasn’t bad and the staff were very nice, it simply lacks any real engagement, enthusiasm or commitment to the serving process. We actually had to hang onto every word because our servers (One of whom I’m guessing was a manager or owner) were so timid and soft-spoken and acted a bit awkward when addressing us. There was no eye contact when asked specific questions about the food and dietary needs. Our first experience differed but was similar. Eating out is considered a luxury for so many reasons one of which is being served and the engagement involved in the dining process. I think if you can make more commitment to the dining experience, this place will be frequented more and get higher marks.

Such a big menu! They had vegan dishes that covered many different types of cuisine, so there's something for everyone. The atmosphere was also very relaxing and homey, with plants and greens everywhere. We started off with the general tso's cauliflower, which was quite tasty. I got the curry ramen soup, which was very filling and warming. However, don't confuse it with a traditional curry ramen the flavors are more muted and there are limited noodles, so think of it more like soup with some curry ramen flavor. In that context, it's a nice dish. My girlfriend got the kung pao tofu entree, which was flavorful, but didn't quite taste like the kung pao flavor profile. Would definitely be interested to try some other dishes on the menu.

Closes at 10? Drove all the way over, tried called at 930, no answer and the doors are closed with no one around at 9:40p. Lost my business.

Green Fusion is consistently wonderful veg food! These are colorful flavorful meals that are beautifully aromatic delicious!I’m vegan always have so much to choose from. I’m particularly fond of the holiday buffets!! Here are some pics. I will add more …just go and see for yourself. ?
